We’re the world’s first brand to offer yoga bolsters with a choice of firmness, giving you the ability to choose between firm and medium-firm support. Ethically sewn in India, then hand-assembled in Vancouver, our bolsters are built to last while supporting both your body and the planet.

Our Bolster Story
Bheem Athletics was born from a simple idea — yoga props should support you, not strain you.
During her C-section recovery, co-founder Prem experienced how heavy traditional bolsters could feel during restorative yoga. Every reposition required effort her healing body couldn’t afford. That moment sparked a mission to create a lightweight, handmade yoga bolster that still offered uncompromising support.
After months of testing with students in their Canadian yoga studio, Bheem Athletics launched the world’s first bolster with a choice of firmness.
This means you can tailor your restorative yoga experience exactly as you like it, just like choosing the firmness of a mattress.
Why Lightness Matters
At just 860 g — similar to the weight of a loaf of bread — Bheem bolsters are easy to move during class, travel with, and store at home.

Built for structure and stillness, the Bheem Firm Bolster features a dense foam core wrapped in soft fiber - delivering unshifting support without unnecessary weight. It’s encased in a removable cover made from heavyweight 100% cotton canvas, offering a natural feel with durable structure that holds its shape over time.
Each cover is handmade by artisans in India, paid above livable wage standards, then assembled by hand in Vancouver using locally sourced materials.
Ideal for restorative poses that require grounding and lift, like Viparita Karani (legs up the wall), Supported Forward Folds, and Side-Lying Savasana.
